Brother Elisha
A Life of Purpose Born from Poverty
Born into a poor family in rural Andhra Pradesh, Brother Elisha experienced the pain of poverty and the heartbreak of watching loved ones suffer without medical help.
As a child, he saw his father endure curable illnesses simply because they couldn’t afford a doctor — a memory that became both a burden and a calling from God.
With unwavering faith and determination, Elisha turned that pain into purpose. He founded LIGHT Society, an organization that now cares for hundreds of underprivileged children, provides education to the poor, and brings healing through LIGHT Home Hospital.
The ₹10 consultation is more than just an affordable fee — it’s a declaration of dignity.
It says: “You are not invisible. Your life matters. You are worthy of care.”
LIGHT Home Hospital was built on this belief — that no one should suffer or die simply because they are poor.
Every patient we treat is a living reminder of our mission: to bring healing, hope, and the light of God’s love to the poorest of the poor.
